Dr. Yuhui Yan, M.D., is a highly experienced physician with dual expertise in general and aesthetic surgery. His career spans over two decades and includes extensive surgical training and fellowships in both the U.S. and China. He completed residency and research fellowships at prestigious institutions including Mount Sinai Medical School, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Fudan Medical University in Shanghai. He is also certified in facial anatomy, thread lifting, Botox, and dermal fillers, and he holds diplomas from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAMED) and Empire Medical Training.

Dr. Yan currently practices aesthetic medicine and cosmetic surgery at Rivertown Med Spa in Sleepy Hollow, NY, where he partners with Dr. Robert Shirinov. He also serves as a surgery faculty member at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Yan has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and delivered over a dozen oral presentations at national and international surgical and aesthetic medicine conferences. His research contributions focus on peripheral nerve repair, wound healing, and the physiological effects of electromagnetic radiation.

He continued his surgical training as a resident at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also gained experience at several other hospitals, including Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, and Montefiore/New Rochelle Medical Center.

During his residency, he pursued a research and trauma fellowship in pediatric surgery at St. Louis University Medical Center, contributing to several publications addressing surgical issues in both adults and children.

Dr. Shirinov has a keen interest in general surgical problems and minimally invasive treatments for venous disease.
